This authentic, hand-painted, original Oil Painting depicts a village scene with a pair of church steeples rising above clustered houses and dark treeline beneath a cloudy sky. Presumably 19th Century, the work shows visible brushwork and a textured paint surface, especially in the clouded sky and leafy foreground. The palette is muted with earthy greens and warm ochres that read naturally against the aged canvas. One of a kind, this piece carries the unique marks of the artist’s hand and age. Presumably 19th Century . The painting measures 72 × 60 cm (28.3 × 23.6 inches) (framed, if shown) and weighs: 4.1 kg (9.0 lbs). If you see a frame in the pictures, it comes with the artwork :)
