This authentic, hand-painted, original Oil Painting dates from the Mid 20th Century and is a one-of-a-kind work. The composition shows figures and a horse-drawn cart at the shoreline beneath a large, softly rendered cloud against a blue sky. Visible, confident brushstrokes build texture across the canvas, especially in the cloud and the thickly applied paint of the figures. Hung in its simple period frame, the piece reads as a lively, tactile scene that would warm a collector’s wall. Mid 20th Century. The painting measures 38 × 49 cm (15.0 × 19.3 inches) (framed, if shown) and weighs: 0.9 kg (2.0 lbs). If you see a frame in the pictures, it comes with the artwork :)
