This authentic, hand-painted, original Oil Painting from the 19th Century presents a busy harbor scene with ships, masts and small boats set against a pale sky. The visible paint surface shows fine craquelure and lively brushwork, with short, textured strokes that build the water and distant vessels. The warm, muted palette and the detailed handling of sails and rigging are clearly visible and give the scene a lived-in, maritime character.
