This authentic, hand-painted, original Oil Painting from the Mid 20th Century depicts a detailed sailing ship under full sail on a choppy sea, with a warm yellow sky behind it. The artist’s fine pen-like rigging lines and layered paint for the waves are clearly visible, and the surface shows subtle brushwork and texture across the sky and water. The image sits within a dark wooden surround that complements the painting’s tones. This one-of-a-kind work will appeal to collectors seeking a distinct vintage maritime scene. Mid 20th Century.
