This authentic, hand-painted, original Oil Painting dates to the Mid 20th Century and depicts a snowy village scene with low houses and bare trees against a pale blue sky. The visible paint surface shows layered brushwork and a textured finish, especially in the sky and snow on the rooftops. Dark, linear brushstrokes define the leafless trees while thicker, more blended strokes form the roofs and distant landscape. One of a kind and unaffected by reproduction, this piece will add period character to a collector's display. Mid 20th Century.
