This authentic, hand-painted, original Oil Painting from the Mid 20th Century depicts three sailing vessels on a choppy sea beneath a cloudy sky. The scene is rendered in deep blues and greys with visible, expressive brushwork that gives the water and clouds a textured, tactile surface. The boats and rigging are painted with confident, economical strokes that read clearly against the seascape. As a one-of-a-kind work, it carries the distinct hand of the artist and would add vintage maritime character to any collection. Mid 20th Century. The painting measures 60 × 51 cm (23.6 × 20.1 inches) (framed, if shown) and weighs: 1.2 kg (2.6 lbs). If you see a frame in the pictures, it comes with the artwork :)
