This authentic, hand-painted, original Oil Painting, presumably Mid 20th Century, captures a peaceful coastal scene with trees by a shoreline and distant hills under a pale blue sky. The visible brushstrokes and slight impasto in the trees and shoreline give the surface a tactile texture that comes alive close-up. The warm, aged gilt frame and the painterly handling suggest a one-of-a-kind piece with character. It would make a charming addition for a collector seeking an intimate vintage landscape. Presumably Mid 20th Century. The painting measures 29 × 24 cm (11.4 × 9.4 inches). If a frame is shown in the pictures, the frame is always included with the artwork :)
