This authentic, hand-painted, original Oil Painting depicts a vase of soft-petaled flowers set against a deep, warm ground and is presumably Early 20th Century. The warm pinks of the blooms and the dark green leaves sit plainly in the composition, with visible brushwork that builds petal texture and a subtly worn paint surface. The gilt outer frame and simple inner surround accentuate the vintage presence of the work. This one-of-a-kind painting would make a charming addition for a collector seeking an intimate, period floral. Presumably Early 20th Century. The painting measures 38 × 31.5 cm (15.0 × 12.4 inches) and weighs 0.8 kg (1.8 lbs). The frame shown in the photos is included.
