This authentic, hand-painted original Oil Painting dates from the Mid 20th Century and is a one-of-a-kind landscape study. The scene shows a small church or chapel partially hidden by leafy trees, with a steeple and a pale sky above. Visible impasto and varied brushwork give the foliage and roof a textured paint surface that reads clearly even in reproduction. Warm, muted tones and the artist’s tactile handling of paint make this piece a distinctive addition to a vintage collection. Mid 20th Century. The painting measures 48.5 × 58 cm (19.1 × 22.8 inches) (framed, if shown) and weighs: 1.3 kg (2.9 lbs). If you see a frame in the pictures, it comes with the artwork :)
