This authentic, hand-painted, original Oil Painting appears to be from a wooden panel mounted in a simple pine stretcher, presumably 19th Century. The photo shows the reverse with a dark, worn painted panel and a warm-toned wood frame held by metal brackets and a hanging wire. Visible brushwork and age on the paint surface give a textured, lived-in appearance along the back of the panel.
