This authentic, hand-painted, original Oil Painting dates from the 19th Century and is presented here from the reverse, showing its wooden stretcher and aged canvas. The back reveals a warm, worn patina on the timber with remnants of original paint along the inner edges and visible stretcher keys. Fine craquelure and surface texture on the canvas are apparent, and you can see areas where the paint and varnish have aged.
