This authentic, hand-painted, original Oil Painting from the Late 20th Century shows a crucified figure against a dark, brooding background, with a small papery sign above the cross and silhouetted forms below. The central figure and surrounding shadows are rendered in warm, worn tones that stand out against the deep black ground. You can see visible brushwork and a slightly textured paint surface that give the scene tactile presence. This is a one-of-a-kind work that will add a solemn, historic touch to a collector's wall. Late 20th Century. The painting measures 39 × 54 cm (15.4 × 21.3 inches) (framed, if shown) and weighs: 1.5 kg (3.3 lbs). If you see a frame in the pictures, it comes with the artwork :)
