This authentic, hand-painted, original Oil Painting dates from the 19th Century and presents a formal portrait of a woman in dark dress and hat. The canvas shows age-related paint loss and scuffs around the edges, while the sitter’s face and clothing remain clearly rendered. Visible brushwork and a quietly textured paint surface give the portrait a tactile, lived-in presence. As a one-of-a-kind original, it will add genuine period character to a collector’s ensemble. 19th Century. The painting measures 40 × 49 cm (15.7 × 19.3 inches) (framed, if shown) and weighs: 0.5 kg (1.1 lbs). If you see a frame in the pictures, it comes with the artwork :)
