This authentic, hand-painted, original Oil Painting dates from the Mid 20th Century and is a one-of-a-kind landscape study. The scene shows rustic cottages beside a calm river with trees rising against a soft, pastel sky. Visible brushwork and subtle impasto create textured foliage and a gently worked paint surface across the water and fields. Warm, muted tones and careful handling of light give this piece quiet, collectible charm. Mid 20th Century. The painting measures 80 × 60 cm (31.5 × 23.6 inches).
