This authentic, hand-painted, original Oil Painting dates from the Mid 20th Century and presents a calm coastal scene with small sailing boats and a few figures on the shore. The soft, muted palette and visible brushstrokes give the sky and water a gently textured surface that reads clearly at close view. The painting is shown in a carved gilt frame, and the stepped layers of paint and impasto near the clouds confirm the artist’s hand. This is a one-of-a-kind work for a collector seeking a quietly atmospheric vintage seascape. Mid 20th Century. The painting measures 34 × 24 cm (13.4 × 9.4 inches) (framed, if shown) and weighs: 0.8 kg (1.8 lbs). If you see a frame in the pictures, it comes with the artwork :)
