This authentic, hand-painted, original Aquarel dates from the Mid 20th Century and depicts a quiet pastoral scene with cows, a figure, distant water and leafy trees. The soft washes of color and subtle variations in pigment are clearly visible on the paper, and close inspection reveals delicate brushwork and gentle texture across the paint surface. The piece is shown in a deep, carved black frame that complements the muted tones of the image. As a one-of-a-kind original, this work makes a singular addition to any collector’s collection. Artist: Heekeren. Mid 20th Century. The painting measures 57 × 47 cm (22.4 × 18.5 inches) (framed, if shown) and weighs: 5.1 kg (11.2 lbs). If you see a frame in the pictures, it comes with the artwork :)
