This authentic, hand-painted, original Oil Painting from the 18th Century shows a reclining female figure draped in white and red with two putti nearby and a dove in the upper scene. The composition is vertical and narrow, with soft, aged colors and visible craquelure across the paint surface. You can see lively, confident brushwork in the folds of the garments and a subtle texture where the paint has built up. This one-of-a-kind antique work would add period character to any collection. Artist: Attributed to A. Terwesten de Jonge. 18th Century . The painting measures 63 × 135 cm (24.8 × 53.1 inches) (framed, if shown) and weighs: 6 kg (13.2 lbs).
