This authentic, hand-painted, original Oil Painting dates to the Early 20th Century and presents a small landscape scene with an arched ruin and surrounding figures rendered in muted tones. Thick, visible brushwork and a textured paint surface give the composition a tactile, lived-in quality. The gilded wooden frame with carved ornament complements the aged palette and draws the eye inward. This one-of-a-kind work has the honest character collectors seek in an original period painting. Early 20th Century. The painting measures 52 × 42 cm (20.5 × 16.5 inches) (framed, if shown) and weighs: 1.5 kg (3.3 lbs). If you see a frame in the pictures, it comes with the artwork :)
