This authentic, hand-painted, original Oil Painting, presumably 19th Century, presents a dark, quietly worn panel with a faint, aged visage visible near the top. The portrait area shows a deeply cracked varnish and a matte, textured paint surface that speaks to many years of life. The gilt wooden frame, with subtle red slip along the inner edge, complements the painting and shows its own gentle wear. This one-of-a-kind work has an intimate presence that will sit naturally in a focused collection. Presumably 19th Century . The painting measures 17 × 20 cm (6.7 × 7.9 inches) (framed, if shown) and weighs: 0.35 kg (0.8 lbs). If you see a frame in the pictures, it comes with the artwork :)
