This authentic, hand-painted, original Oil Painting from 1944 depicts an interior cloister with sunlit floor tiles, arched vaults and a row of sculpted columns receding into shadow. The scene is rendered in muted earth tones and clear, deliberate strokes that reveal the textured paint surface. You can see the artist’s brushwork in the layered highlights on the columns and the subtle impasto on the tiled floor. This is a one-of-a-kind work that will add historic character to a collector’s selection. Artist: Jean Dohmen. 1944. The painting measures 36 × 46 cm (14.2 × 18.1 inches) (framed, if shown) and weighs: 1.1 kg (2.4 lbs). If you see a frame in the pictures, it comes with the artwork :)
