This authentic, hand-painted, original Oil Painting dates to the Mid 20th Century and presents a small floral still life set within a richly carved gilt frame. The visible composition shows layered blooms in red, blue, white and yellow against a dark background, painted with confident, visible brushwork and a slightly textured paint surface. The heavy, ornate gold frame bears carved leaf and bead motifs that complement the work and show subtle wear consistent with age. This one-of-a-kind piece will stand out in a collection for its intimate subject and the tactile quality of its paint and frame. Mid 20th Century. The painting measures 23 × 20 cm (9.1 × 7.9 inches) (framed, if shown) and weighs: 0.9 kg (2.0 lbs). If you see a frame in the pictures, it comes with the artwork :)
