This authentic, hand‑painted, original Oil Painting dates from the Early 20th Century and is a one‑of‑a‑kind landscape. The scene shows a valley framed by dark hills with distant snow‑capped peaks beneath a clouded sky, and small figures and a horse on the road below. Visible brushwork and a varied paint surface give texture to the clouds and foliage, with older varnish tones lending depth. The worn black frame with hints of red adds period character and completes the piece for a collector. Early 20th Century. The painting measures 48 × 38 cm (18.9 × 15.0 inches) (framed, if shown) and weighs: 1 kg (2.2 lbs). If you see a frame in the pictures, it comes with the artwork :)
