This authentic, hand-painted, original Oil Painting dates from the 19th Century and is a one-of-a-kind landscape scene. The composition shows a wide, cloud-filled sky above darkened treelines and distant fields, painted with visible brushwork and a gently crackled paint surface. Subtle variations in the sky and the layered application of paint create a soft, atmospheric depth that reads beautifully in person. The work’s aged texture and original handling make it a unique addition for a collector seeking an authentic period piece. 19th Century.
