This authentic, hand-painted, original Oil Painting from the Mid 20th Century presents a stylized white figure seated against a backdrop of deep blues, reds and ochres with a round, multicoloured form at its feet. The surface shows visible brushwork and layered paint texture, especially in the figure’s body and the dark background. Nearby botanical stems and a mushroom-like shape are rendered in loose, assured strokes that bring a tactile quality to the composition. This one-of-a-kind work would add vintage character to any collector’s wall. Mid 20th Century. The painting measures 67 × 57 cm (26.4 × 22.4 inches) and weighs 1.6 kg (3.5 lbs).
